A 19th-century 9ct gold propelling pencil.
The screw-off terminal is set with a bloodstone cut with a lion's head revealing a reservoir for individual spare leads.
There are very slight imperfections such as very small dents in the barrel.
The pencil is in good working order.
The gold is unmarked but tests for 9ct.
